Voices of Palestine and Israel – Open Panel in English

Join us for a unique dialog event: Hamza Howidy (on the right), a Palestinian activist and journalist from Gaza who speaks candidly about his experiences with Hamas and is now committed to dialogue with Israelis, and Shay Dashevsky (on the left), who was born in Israel.
Together, they demonstrate how personal stories and interpersonal relationships can challenge prejudices, fight extremism, and broaden horizons.

Shay Dashevsky is the project manager of „I Am From Israel, Ask Me Anything“ and a key contributor to „Voices from Gaza and Israel“. Through his work, Shay is committed to combating extremism by creating spaces for honest conversation and human connection.

Hamza Howidy
Hamza Howidy is a peace advocate and community leader committed to dialogue, coexistence, and social progress. He has been actively involved in efforts to counter extremism, including taking a stand against Hamas during past conflicts in Gaza. Through his work, Hamza continues to promote empathy, understanding, and constructive solutions in regions affected by division and violence.
